Here are a few of the upcoming motorcycle tours I am planning for 2013.
First trip will be in May : As soon as we can get a four day stretch of nice weather. Planed trip will be from Buckhorn Ontario up into Quebec vacation country, Gatineau Hills and Mt. Tremblant provincial park. This trip will only be two riders, my brother and me.
Jim will be riding his Yamaha FJ 1200 and I will be on my Kawasaki ZZR 1200. The trip should be four days in all..covering approximately 1,200 kilometers. Planned route is as follows:
Segment 1: Start- Curve Lake/Buckhorn Ont. to Hwy 28 to Bancroft to Denbigh Hwy 41 to Matawatchan Rd 65 continue on to Calabogie ..continue Calabogie Rd through to Arnprior to Old Hwy 17 along river to Galetta Rd and up to the ferry at Quyon Ferry Landing. Cross the Ottawa River into St. Mary’s Parish in Quebec. Take Hwy 148 to Gatineau to Avenue Dupont and up hwy 307 into the Gatineau Hills. to Hwy 309.Segment 1 distance Buckhorn to Cantley Quebec 330 Kilometers..Drive time approx 6 Hours plus stops..

Segment 2: Day 2 Cantley Quebec Hwy 307 up to 309 to hwy 311 to Kiamika and take Chemin Chapleau heading to Lac Nomonique (distance to this point 175Km 3hrs plus stops). Rest in Lac Nomnique then take hwy 321 over to hwy 17 to to Mt. Tremblant that’s another hour. Total travel time 5 hours with stops. Stay in Mt. Tremblant and check it out.
